Last time I visited the Heat Online website I realized at the bottom of the page was a created with Joomla! software logo. I was surprised to see this because Joomla! is a free software tool that website designers use. I consider it to be a way of designing a site on the cheaper side.
It leaves me wondering how much money Innologin Ltd. (the company that is handling Heat Online's publishing) is working with. I'm sure they haven't spent that much money on marketing. Although they have done some simple facebook marketing by allowing people to Like their site.
I haven't seen any new videos on Youtube or any kind of social marketing besides the Like button. This is pretty discouraging; I don't see how they think this game is going to grow without any kind of marketing whatsoever. Each time I pay their site a visit I'm getting more surprised that it is even up still. I wonder what kind of population growth they are shooting for, but from what I can tell the game is pretty stagnant.
