Project Torque Review

One thing you will notice right away is it takes a very long time to download. I have a new computer, so anyone with a bit of an old computer better prepare for a long download.

The first time the game was not all that excited. It worked very well in high-end graphics. I tried the single player mission, which gives a great decline of what you need to get started. But I got bored with the missions .. A week later or so, tried again and this time tried the multiplayer. Then I realized this game had me hooked!


The graphics are really good, especially for a free game to play. The outdoor camera is nice, but maybe not very realistic in the chamber. You can see the steering wheel, mirrors, even the heater control panel and other display! I was also surprised at the character inside the car. His (or her) arms are actually shown in motion according to your address. For now, you can only choose a man or woman of your avatar, but in the future will allow for personalization. I can not wait!

The cars are very well designed. There are a lot of fun to drive (especially when you have the camera inside a). The maps have amazing detail. It is not absolutely perfect, but when ever? It is very pleasant to drive around.


The missions are good to get started. They also provide a nice challenge. But online gaming has a lot of variety. There are few ways. Not the regular race course. The controls in this game are pretty simple. I think you can connect a wheel, which makes it very fun. Otherwise, not too difficult to play. There are good physical in this game, so the races are pretty participation, and you still have to stay on their toes. Drifting can be a little tricky, but once you try it a couple of times to be able to make some surprising twists.


The sound effects are pretty good. His usual hum of the engines, etc. The music is also pretty good and fits in the game. But if you want more variety you can put your own mp3 files!

In short, this game is pretty amazing for a free game. I think it can compete with games like Project Gotham Racing and the likes. It's free! The shop owner is very expensive, as most are, but the positive side, it means that you can still play for free and the content is often added. Unlike a game to buy everything, this game will keep improving and get updated.

Anyone who likes racing games, or even some who really do not, you can enjoy this. It's easy to get into it quickly, which is good for casual gamers, and is also highly addictive, ideal for intense gamers.
