Racing for the Nintendo 3DS

I purchased a Nintendo 3DS on March 27th the day it was first available in the United States. I didn't own a DS system, but I wanted to try out the 3DS after reading so much about it online.

I am very impressed with its graphics, the 3D effect delivers. I think it would be a great platform to bring racing games too. Maybe something like Project Torque on the 3DS. I know it would have to be a totally different graphics engine, but the online races, experience, and shop could make the same type of game.

I think the 3D graphic effects will work great with a racing game. I can't even begin to unravel how they make the screen work. The best way I can describe it, it feels like you are looking at a movable and ever changing holographic image. The sense of depth it gives you is amazing.

It would be awesome playing a racing game against another person; we are in a tight race. Having the cars continually passing each other as they fight for the lead.
